This music-filled class celebrates the unique joys of your growing child. Each week your child will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with you and her new friends and you’ll love helping her practice a wide variety of abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and active listening. In class, we’ll also share tips and ideas for using music throughout the week.
Enrolment includes:
- Developmentally appropriate activities for parents and babies, Kindermusik@Home Digital Home Materials, including music from classes, ideas for home use and it’s benefits
- Use of café, play area
- £28 per month
There’s a lot of talk about school readiness, but a child isn’t school ready just because they know their Abc’s. At Kindermusik, we know that in order to be ready to learn, what a child needs most is to feel safe, heard and supported. We offer children the comfort of simple routines so they know what to expect and the reassurance of rituals to help them get comfortable and ready to learn. Every child is invited to interact at their own pace and in their own way. They will have chances to explore and experiment safely and even experience setbacks because in a nurtured environment children learn to bounce back.
In Kindermusik, children are encouraged to find out about their own emotions through stories, activities and songs. They use their bodies, voices and even instruments and props to express themselves and to develop empathy for others. Children will thrive with a sense of belonging and adventure that comes from being part of a Kindermusik class or community. They try new things, develop confidence and learn to share, take turns and work together. What’s more school ready than that!
